Big Paws Planner is operated by Omega Brewer-Gonzalez personally, doing business as Big Paws Planner / Big Paws Unleashed. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our subscription web app.

We collect only the information needed to run Big Paws Planner:
- Account information: Your email address and authentication details, collected through Supabase Auth so you can securely log in.
- Dog and pet care data: Information you choose to enter about your dogs, such as names, breeds, birth dates, weights, milestones, health notes, and care events.
- Payment information: We do not store your credit card or banking details. All payments are processed by Stripe, and Stripe handles that data under their own privacy and security standards.
- Usage and technical data: Basic information about how you interact with the app (for example, error logs and feature usage) so we can keep the service reliable and improve it over time.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide, secure, and improve Big Paws Planner. Specifically, we use it to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Display your dog profiles, growth charts, and records.
- Process subscriptions and billing through Stripe.
- Respond to support requests and keep the app running.
- Fix bugs and build features that help large-breed dog owners.
We do not sell your personal information or your dog's data. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
3. Cookies and analytics
Big Paws Planner uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns, but we do not track you across other websites.
4. Data sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the app:
- Supabase for authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe for payment processing.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
5. Your rights and choices
You can access, update, or delete most of your data directly in the app. If you need help exporting or deleting your account and associated dog records, contact us at the email below and we will handle your request in a reasonable timeframe.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and dog data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and delete your account, we will remove your data from active systems within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it for legal or security purposes.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take your privacy seriously and work to keep your data safe.
8. Children's privacy
Big Paws Planner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
